Description

Light and fluttery while also dramatic, this beautiful hat designed by Yves Saint Laurent for Christian Dior-New York label from the 1950 s is in immaculate condition. All the feather plumes are intact, the interior is clean and the comb is well attached and has all of its teeth. The black velvet bow that sits at the front of the hat is, as well, in excellent condition. Very similar to bright pink version featured in the 1958 LIFE magazine story on new Paris fashion featuring the model Sandy Brown.
