Description

1950s Balenciaga dark gray heavy woven wool boucle skirt suit with oversized jewelled buttons. The cut of the jacket is indicative of 1950s Balenciaga with the wide cropped sleeves and the hem hitting at the high waist. The jewelled accent buttons are the hallmark of the fashion house and a nod to Balenciaga s Spanish roots. The narrow skirt has a banded waist and falls to just below the knee. Jacket closes with hidden snaps and the skirt zips up the side. In excellent condition, a collector piece. Fits like a US 4.
